Kamouraska is certainly one of the most romantic places in Quebec. Located 4 hours drive from Montreal, this small village is a real haven of peace, where gastronomy and nature are one.

The scenery is breathtaking and it is the place par excellence in which to observe the nicest (or most) of sunsets in the province.

In addition to being one of the best gourmet addresses in Kamouraska, the charming little bistro-east Side Is located on the edge of the river. The view is magnificent and you can have a walk after your meal history of stretch.


2. The Motel Cap Blanc

A bit away from the other cottages and hotels in Kamouraska, Motel Cap Blanc is the ideal place to spend a night at little cost, and this close to the river. The rooms are clean and equipped with a kitchenette and a charming small terrace which gives a view of the water. A “wow” everytime!

The boulangerie Niemand offers that may not be a view of the river in Kamouraska, but the bread is so good that it is a must-visit address in the corner. You can take a loaf or a sandwich delicious before you go for a picnic on the edge of the water.
