The ex-receiver of the password to the Red and Gold of the University Laval Marc-André Lacombe died of a cardiac arrest on Friday, in Montreal, at the age of 35 years.

The thirty-year-old had been admitted to the hospital on the 28th of December, after feeling discomfort which turned out to be a cardiac arrest, according to relatives. He finally succumbed to his condition on Friday, a few days before blowing out his 36 candles.

A native of the metropolis, Marc-André Lacombe grew up in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. He wore the colors of the Giants of the Cégep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu before continuing his journey with the Red and Gold of the University Laval.

Lacombe has moved to Quebec for two seasons, 2004 and 2005.
