After having lost their three previous games, the New Jersey Devils have returned with the victory Saturday afternoon at the Prudential Center, where they defeated the Philadelphia Flyers by a score of 3 to 2. Nico Hischier has led the charge for the local team with a goal and an assist.

The attacker, 20-year-old scored his 13th goal of the season in the second twenty. After intercepting a pass from Travis Sanheim in neutral zone, he spun alone in front of the goalkeeper Carter Hart that he had cleverly foiled a shot of the reverse side.

Hischier has also contributed to the winning goal, scored by Miles Wood in the second minute of the last engagement. Damon Severson has also hit the target for the Devils.

On the side of the Flyers, James van Riemsdyk and Sean Couturier have both managed to outwit the goalie Mackenzie Blackwood. Couturier, however, recorded in the score so that there were only two seconds to go in regulation time.

Blackwood has signed her fourth victory in seven starts in front of the net of the Devils pushing 32 of the 34 shots the Flyers. For his part, Hart has sold three times on 26 shots.
