YOU tells the unsettling story of a stalker in the series, Joe. Despite the crimes committed by the latter, some fans of the show cannot help but have a soft spot for him and this is not pleasing at all to the actor.

What was known as Dan Humphrey in Gossip Girl and responded to several fans on Twitter letting them know that it must absolutely not forgive the actions of Joe.

A fan said: “I have already said, but Penn Badgley me breeze and once again the heart in the role of Joe. Why?”

Without take four paths, Penn immediately responded: “He is a murderer”, meaning that it is the murders that should break the heart, not the boy who committed them.

Someone else has continued the conversation with: “But it is supposed to do what if you’re a murderer attractive?”

What Penn was quick to say that if people found Joe attractive, he had lost faith in humanity.

Another fan tweeted: “OK, Penn Badgley was already sexy Dan Humphrey, but Joe is on another level!”

Penn replied: “… the problem, is that it?”

One of the tweets most disturbing is a fan that said: “Penn Badgley, kidnaps me, please.”

Although it was only a joke, Penn was not appreciated.

It is important not to romanticize the psychopathic tendencies of Joe. Be obsessed with someone, this is not cute, it’s terrifying, and it can even go as far as murder.

Penn said that the fact that some people still see Joe as a good boy will serve as motivation for the season 2 to prove the contrary.

Also, his tweet favorite is this one where a fan of YOU writing: “I’ve never done so little trust in someone as Penn Badgley.”

Penn has found the remark very funny and replied that it was his reaction favorite to date.

Therefore, Penn confirms: it is essential NOT to justify the actions of Joe.

This is not an anti-hero, is a villain. OK? Thank you.
